Is Wubi completly safe?
like it wont kill the computer will it?

I don't think so. When you install Ubuntu it puts it into a folder and then it removes the files that are associated with Linux and shouldn't harm the system.

As Owl said, it puts a ".dsk" file in C:\Ubuntu and will change your bootloader (add an option for ubuntu)

this is all completely reversable.

You can recover from a startup issue with your operating system disk anyway

I use wubi and it works great, but I'm going to uninstall it just because I see no good reason to use Ubuntu when I have Vista.

I might have to uninstall it,
NOTHING works
the sound is choppy
the screen res is stuck at 800x600 and no higher option is available
the USB wireless card won't work
it takes nearly 6 mins to boot up
