Windows XP Home - ISO Image

Hey there, Does anybody know where I can download a Windows XP Home ISO Image. I would love to install XP into my virtual machine so I can test stuff out. However my manufacturer did not provide me with the XP Home installation discs and installed the software on my hard drive. I have contacted Microsoft and they have said the price is £40-50. Can anybody burn me a Windows XP Home.iso or direct me to one? I am not looking for KEYS because I have a legal registeration key. My manufacturer is Packard Bell and they said contact PCWorld, lol and PCWorld said contact Microsoft.

Thanks alot,
Dom

EDIT: Please remove this post if I should not be talking about this subject.

Are you sure it's allowed to talk about that stuff here?

But yeah, search for "Xp Home" on thepiratebay.org as the previous poster said and that would get you what you want/

I think it's because unlike Linux, XP isn't open source, so any ISO image of XP on the 'net would be illegal piracy - we don't want to get this forum off to a bad start I'm sure.

Personally, I don't think it's illegal to download Windows XP if you have the COA and lost it or something. If Microsoft is going to charge us that much to get a disk, really.

But if you're downloading it without having a COA, then it's starting to get illegal.

Thatt's just my thoughts, not anything good towards pirating software.

An interesting point - but let's say you DID lose your original copy - would you then walk into a computer shop and take another copy without paying for it?  I can't honestly see the difference.  But let's not turn this into an argument 'cos I think I'm taking this off topic a bit.....just something to think about, that's all.  :relaxed:

Get it off eBay instead if you want it 100% legal, for $50 which is your currency $25 (can't find that symbol)
