A jellyfish at the coral beach near Plockton in Scotland. Other worldly. They die there in their thousands, it's like a jellyfish graveyard.

A little furry caterpillar I saw on a walk in the Highlands. The place is full of weird and wonderful life.


Both taken with my FujiA340. I have a Nikon D40X but I lost 8GB worth of pics off the card. Grr. That'll teach me to buy cheap HDSD cards.

Not my best photo, but I have only just got back from Cornwall and have started the never ending process of retouching them. This is the first one I have retouched and am quite pleased with the outcome. Shot with a Panasonic lumix dmc-fz18 at Lands End.

It's amazing that i managed to capture this considering how quickly these tiny birds flap their wings.
