I JUST WATCHED THE FOLLOWING VIDEO ON YOUTUBE........

BUT WAT I GATHERED FROM COMMENTS AND OTHER PAGES WAS THAT IT COULD EXPOSE MY PC TO GREATER THREATS THAN USUAL......

COULD YOU PLZ ELABORATE ON THAT AND WAT KIND OF PROTECTION (LIKE ANITVIRUS, FIREWALLS OR OTHER S/Ws ) CAN I USE TO MINIMIZE OR STOP IT.

In a nutshell, when you turn your PC into a websever it opens some ports for various services needed by the webserver. Sometimes, these services aren't secure, and someone can take advantage of their vulnerabilites. To completely protect yourself, make sure you regularly patch your system. You could, I guess, block all access through a firewall, but that would defeat the purpose of a server.
