Ok so i uploaded an AVI video in H.264 codec resized to 640x360 to the nearest neighbor in VirtualDubMod.

I uploaded the video and i got black bars at the sides of the video.

I have had this problem in the past and used mp4 format. It worked but with quality and framerate issues.

If anyone can solve this problem then i would be most grateful.

Here is an example video

Thanks in advance guys

I had this exact problem as well. You will need to use a program called Sony Vegas Pro FREE edtition.

If you save the settings right, it will make the video wide screen when you upload a video to YouTube.

EDIT: If you wish to see a topic on a tutorial on how to do it go here:

And here is the direct video:

Thanks BBC10127 for uploading this video. As it is the only one, out of the 10 or so videos I have seen on how to get HD and wide screen.

Are you just trying to get wide screen video?

If so, all you have to do is record in 640x360, it'll be wide screen and you'll have the HQ option

As is stated in the question it is resized to 640x360 and when uploaded to youtube it goes back to 640x480
