I'm Duncan Maile, most commonly known in the online world as mobilephone2003. Back in 2008, when the world watched ▶️ Youtube in 240p resolution, I was making screencast tutorials. I even got to be a "YouTube Partner" back when it wasn't being offered to everybody.

While nowadays 40k subscribers is a small number, back then, it was quite impressive!

Around 2011 to around 2014, I created a server for ⛏️ Minecraft for players to use, which turned out to be quite popular, and it was awesome to see player's creativity and builds. I have fond memories! I was known as Mobile on the server and had a sonic skin with a cape kindly donated by one of the community (Tommy, thankyou).

Since then I've taken a backseat to the internet and entered the IT Corporate World. Strangely, there's lots of similarities to what I was doing before, just with more guardrails, deadlines and meetings.

I'm a huge advocate of self-hosting applications, and have a 🏠 HomeLab running various bits and pieces.

I'm excited to be back creating, it's something I fondly miss.
