MWSnap 3: http://www.snapfiles.com/get/mwsnap.html
MWSnap 3 is a free program, and it's very easy to use. You simply click two or three options, and your picture is done. There's also a utility in Vista and 7 that works well. It's called 'Snipping Tool' (search it in your start menu). It's also very simple to use, though it leaves a red border around the item you've snapped.
Advanced GIF Animator. Make gif pictures yourself. Very easy to use.
MWSnap is really cool. http://www.snapfiles.com/get/mwsnap.html
Light screen (Open soource)
http://lightscreen.sourceforge.net/
I've used this a lot and it's quite easy to use. There is also a portable version of the software as well.
Some screenshot software:
Lightscreen
Can be found at:

I've checked out LightScreen right now and it's really an easy and nice tool for taking screenshots. I give it 5 stars. This little free cool tool beats SnagIt that costs $50.
