my mcafee does'nt like the link to command & conquer flaging it as dangerous is it safe?
No, it flags separate links. The site and the C&C download are completely safe. (It's just the ad's you should avoid clicking on)
hey dunc found some freeware at http://www.snapfiles.com/get/stickfigure.html
http://www.heroesofnewerth.com/
I'm not sure that these games belong here as they are adventure games but I don't know where else to put them.
http://www.brokensword25.com – A fan made sequel to the Broken Sword franchise.
http://www.zombie-cow.com – Ben There, Dan That! is a point-and-click comedy game with adult humour.
http://www.scummvm.org/downloads – Beneath a Steel Sky, Flight of the Amazon Queen & Lure of the Temptress are now freeware point-and-click adventure games.

Hey All,
I've been playing around with Ubuntu 9.10 recently for a Media Centre and have come across Battle For Wesnoth in its games repositories. http://www.wesnoth.org/
Its a full blown fantasy turn-based strategy in a similar mould to Heroes of Might and Magic. Has a huge amount of campaigns and with it being open-source its completely free for Linux, Windows and i think Mac as well. I've been having loads of fun with it in between struggling to get linux to play nice with all my media and my home network.
Hope a few people will enjoy it.
Cheers
Andy

1. C&C Red alert
2. C&C 95 gold
3. C&C Tiberian sun
All download and installation instructions are included on the webpage link, it is also the offical website so they are all safe and clean from nasty stuff.
They all work on Windows XP/Vista and 7 (For Windows 7 read the Vista installation guide) all of them are installed in the same way (near enough) they also work on netbooks.

That is the official link if you don't feel comfortable with my previous C&C link. It is from the Command and conquer creators.
Trash RTS – http://www.inhumangames.com/
It has a free version and a pro version (pro costs about $15 and you get the mutant faction and all the maps – however in the free version u can play on all the maps if someone, who has the full version, joins your game)
Its a fun multiplayer RTS game – still has a small community though so hopefully this will increase that.
