Reason for the Ban: I was searching for diamond by my usual method. I usually do straight cuts at a level of y=11. If i find a cave then i search and pour water over lava to search the lava pools. Once I search a cave I go back to straight cutting. While straight cutting try to avoid gravel and dirt by going around so I don't have to switch tools. Plus there are no diamonds in dirt or gravel. On this particular day I had just reached a patch of gravel and proceeded to side step it. While going around it I found a piece of diamond. That when I lost all my inventory and saw the mod behind me. He asked if I had anything to admit. I responded by asking "like what". He jumped straight to conclusions and accused my of digging straight to diamonds and said he has been following me. Which cannot be true cause he would have seen me not only searching caves and straight cutting but getting lost and not finding any diamond for long periods of time. He said that the proof of my cheating was my cutting path. Which is 95% straight unless I ran into any gravel/dirt. Without letting me plead my case any more or even letting me show him my straight cuts he banned me. I have spent the last 5 months on this sever for at least 6 days out of the week and now I am banned. I hope this moderator error is fixed so that I can go back to playing with my friends and enjoying this server.
Reply to "make it look like you weren't using a hacked client, you didn't miss any diamonds when you were in these cave systems before digging into another cave"
My so called digging around a diamond spot to cover up is completely erroneous! When diamond is dug up there is often parts of it that you cannot see. Extra diamond in that clump hiding behind other blocks. My digging around sections is in attempt to find more diamond in that group. Also, when you say i didn't miss any diamonds in a cave you must be speaking of the diamonds laying of the surface of the cave. I at no time made a B line to diamond or made unjustified cuts to get to diamond. All the diamond i found was in caves that I was searching through save the group I had found moments before getting banned. If you were watching me then you must have seen me digging absolutely straight for long periods of time and not finding anything. As for the picture that you posted. I have no Idea what I'm looking at. Are those lamps? What does that prove? As for my diamond to stone(?) ratio. Can that not be explained by the fact that I am searching in and unexplored cave and using buckets of water to traverse lave instead of cutting through it? If you were following me for so long then please tell me, where did I find all of my diamond? Was it all surrounded by rock or did I find EXPOSED diamond in caves?
If you would like to bust me for something then I'll give you something. While digging my straight cuts. Occasionally my client glitches and I see a patch of lava ahead of me. If its close then I'll stray in hopes that it is a lava pool that I can use my bucket of water on and be able to cover more ground. These glitches occur often and are part of the game and in no way lead me to diamond or give me an advantage over other players.
Reply: That photo shows nothing! It shows that I dug up a piece of diamond and proceeded to drop onto a pool of lava that I poured water over. It also shows me avoiding the dirt! You are ignoring my question of where I ound my diamonds! I do not believe that you guys watched me do anything illegal and this ban is absolutely rediculous. If you want to ban me for digging towards lava then thats one thing. But accusing me of using a hack to find diamonds, when it is obvious that I am searching caves is just obsurd! About the digging towards the lava. I have read all 20 rules and nowhere is it stated that digging towards lava that you have seen in a glitch is illegal.
