More Google Wave Invites
As you may know, Duncan just gave away 16 Google Wave Invites, but there was one problem. Not all of you received your invites as you were too late. Well I am now going to give you another chance!
I recently received 4 Google Wave invites in my inbox, so the first 4 people to make a comment to this post will receive one! Just remember to put your e-mail address!
Note : Google does not process the invites right away, but once I invite you, I will respond to your comment saying I invited you. Good luck!
Another Note : Due to the huge response, I ended up giving away 4 more invites to the next 4 responders.
*I am now out of Google Wave invites, congrats to the winners, sorry for everyone who didn’t make it*

There are many great features about this application specifically

- Filter programs to
Rating: Very good movies/Shows, Subtitled programs, Marked programs, Audio descriptions - Manage your favourite programs

The settings menu of TV-Browser is very extensive showing

Review: Linux Mint – The Experience
As I got bored of fiddling with my Ubuntu Linux Distro I decided I might as well look around at some other operating systems I could try for free, and of course, I was looking in the Linux field. My decision ended up coming down to either OpenSuse or Linux Mint. Obviously I decided to try Linux Mint 8.
The first thing I noticed about Linux Mint is that the wallpapers seem to be more inviting. Maybe it is because they aren’t that depressing brown color that seems to stick around with Ubuntu throughout all the versions… either way, I liked it.

Another thing that was noticeable to me, Mint had xchat pre-installed, but the really nice feature was that when you opened it you were automatically put in two Mint chat rooms, one for help, one for general chat. If Ubuntu had that feature when I first started, that would of ensured that I would of gone through less Tylenol, after all, Linux can be very intimidating to someone who has used Windows all their life.
The performance of Mint compared to Ubuntu is nothing like I thought. Going in I figured “This is probably going to be a crappy Ubuntu copy and is probably going to run like dial up if it was an operating systems”… turns out I was way wrong. Linux Mint runs just as well as Ubuntu if not better. Not to mention the iso comes packaged with flash already installed, just another way to make this distro probably the most (new) user friendly yet.
The only real complaint I have is a minor one… the ‘mintMenu’ as it’s called. It’s just blah. It reminds me of when I used Red Hat the non-enterprise version… that was terrible, but a whole different story. As it turns out you can of course change it so it looks like good old Ubuntu, that is if you started with Ubuntu, if not your not going to like the start menu there from Mint chances are.

In attempt to make this distribution the most user friendly Debian-based OS yet, they’ve even added cute little messages to your terminal
Probably trying to make you think better of then when your in there trying to unscrew things up… luckily so far I haven’t had to unscrew anything up.

…funny cow isn’t he.
To sum things up, going into this whole Linux Mint thing, I figured I’d be using Mint for a few days tops, then partition my way back to comfortable little Ubuntu Shell, turns out Ubuntu is no longer on my computer, and Linux Mint occupies 100% of it. I still love Ubuntu and I’ll be back to it sooner or later… after all I like change, but for now, Mint is what I’ll be using. There’s just something about it that makes me want to continue to use it.
If you want to download the newest Linux Mint (8) you can get it as of today at LinuxMint.com

UPDATE: All gone! Sorry to the 3 folks below, you may want to ask Kidguru (http://adrianstech.com) as I believe he has 25 to give away. Also, another writer here which I wont name has 4 to give away, so check back soon!

How To View A Site In Internet Explorer While In Firefox
Have you ever been to a website that has a really cool feature that you want to use? You click to load it and it turns out it only accepts Internet Explorer. You then go through the process of searching for Internet Explorer on your hard drive. What a pain!
What you need is an addon for Firefox called IE Tab. It allows you to quickly change the current tab to render as Firefox or Internet Explorer, using it’s codec’s
This addon doesn’t run unless you tell it too, which is very nice. All you have to do is navigate to where you want to switch to Internet Explorer, click on the little Firefox icon in the status bar and it will change to an Internet Explorer icon. There you go! A tab opening as Internet Explorer inside Firefox.
This addon also has the feature to set pages to load in Internet Explorer mode by default. This is very nice if the homepage of a site requires Internet Explorer.

Video Review: Win7Zilla – Tweak & Optimize Your Windows 7 PC
With the Windows 7 release not so long ago, many people will be on the lookout for tweaking the Operating System for their own purposes, and with many tweaks and tools emerging, it can be difficult to find what you want quickly.
Win7Zilla is a definite competitor in the System Utility Suite area as it combines many tweaks that can be applied to multiple users, and many tools that can effectively increase performance on a system.
While the software is easy to use, and there is a lot of power under the hood in terms of tweaks and tools, the power is hindered by a UI that hides the best of the application, and although it seems possible to move certain parts, this did not happen when the box was at its default size.
Each and every part of the program looks very functional, to the point of rivalling related suites out there today, which is a definite plus point for the product, but it is slightly let down by the interface.
In conclusion, for the price currently at $9.99, this is a definite bargain for the system tweaker, and is a definite recommend for those who don’t want to spend the time hunting out individual free software and tweaks.
